Nanofluid for oil extraction

Researchers report a nanofluid comprised of graphene-based nanosheets that separates oil from water during enhanced oil recovery from oil fields and that has an efficiency of more than 15%, which is comparable to current chemical methods, suggesting that the nanofluid may have economic and environmental benefits for the petroleum industry. - Read at PNAS.org
