4D brain map of somatosensory perception

By adding temporal information and spatial resolution, researchers created 4D maps of human cortical processing, combining anatomical and functional data from stereo-EEGs of 99 patients with epilepsy while the patients’ median nerves, which innervate the hand, were electrically stimulated, thus providing a dynamic brain map of somatosensory stimulus processing. - See at PNAS.org
